" Smith & Wall "News of the World Prize Fishing Reel.. Brass screw set ebonite handles which turn freely set on brass plates. Thick cut brass to starback! Steel check gear, nickel check calliper, brass slotted check plate.

Brass backplate surround & surround to the spool. Turns very freely without any bind or rub - good spinner returning many revolutions.

Trade model so not stamped with the makers details. Ivorine plate to backplate which reads "News of the World Prize Reel". Lovely piece of angling history!
