These volumes contain A New History of the Holy Bible from the Beginning of the World to the Establishment of Christianity with answers to the most controverted questions and with dissertations on the most remarkable passages with notes explaining difficult texts and contradictions. With a bookplate to the front pastedown of vol. With fifteen plates, two being folding to volume one and seventeen to volume two. Both are in half calf binding with marbled boards. Externally, smart with some fading and marks to the boards and rubbing to the spines.
Internally, firmly bound with bright pages with the odd scattered spot throughout the volumes. Fine - Very well preserved copy showing very little wear.
Only one or two minor faults, really a very attractive copy. Quite a wide term meaning no major faults but probably several smaller ones. Often expected given the age of the book, but still a respectable copy. Some more serious faults as will. Be described in the condition report under'condition.
