Hammond's Handy Atlas of the World. Hammond & Company : New York. A smartly bound comprehensive and colourfully illustrated atlas, exploring the Earth, with a focus on the United States. Colour Plates, Illustrated, Leather Binding. Overall Condition: Very Good Indeed.

This book weighs 0.5 KG when packed. Bound in a smart navy calf. A useful comprehensive atlas, illustrated through ninety-four detailed colour plates, and three monochrome plates, and a detailed index. The plates illustrated the globe, countries, as well as each state.

With notes on the population of the states of America in 1930. In a full calf binding. Spine is a little faded. Only a few small marks to the boards. Pages are bright and clean with a few scattered spots to the first and last few pages.

Fine - Very well preserved copy showing very little wear. Only one or two minor faults, really a very attractive copy. Quite a wide term meaning no major faults but probably several smaller ones. Often expected given the age of the book, but still a respectable copy. Some more serious faults as will. Be described in the condition report under'condition. Good Only - Meaning one or more faults that could really do with repair. As with good only above but with other faults. Leaving a compromised copy even after repair.
