The design of the coin was based off of a map made by Willem Janszoon Blaeu, which he created in the 17th century. The locations of each of the New Seven Wonders of the World, which selected in a massive worldwide poll taken by the New7Wonders Foundation, are marked by Swarovski crystals. The Seven Wonders include the Great Wall of China, Petra, Christ the Redeemer, Machu Picchu, Chichen Itza, the Colosseum, and the Taj Mahal. This remarkable coin consists of 7 Troy oz.
999 pure silver and was struck at the Mint of Poland, though it was issued by Niue. Comes in a special case with a themed illustration and certificate of authenticity. Mintage of just 1,007 coins.
