Extra Large Philip's Vintage 1969 New Commercial of the World map Scroll map

  
This is a really lovely statement piece and is of a suitable size to add character to a home office. Despite there being general age related marks through use it is in remarkably good condition and is very practical for a home environment. The face of the map appears to be laminated so is easy to dust over periodically and is backed by a woven fabric which gives the surface a lovely weight and strength. The edges of the map are bound with a sewn fabric vertically and sealed between timber rods top and bottom.

All of these edgings are undamaged. To the fabric backing there is a faint stain which does not register to the face.

The map is suspended by a brown cord which is complete and not frayed at all. For transit the map rolls up and is secured with tape ties.

25cm high triangle formed by cord suspension which is 100cm wide. The timber rods are 2.5cm diameter with a polished/varnished finish.
