New Illustrated Natural History of the World. Image taken of actual book. Green cloth with gilt titles to spine and gilt monkey illustration to front. Includes black and white in-text photographs and colour illustration plates, chiefly by W S Berridge. Pages with some foxing and tanning, particularly to endpapers and textblock edges. Some cracking to hinges and gutters.

Minor pencil inscription to front pastedown. Boards have moderate shelf wear with mild bumping and fraying to corners and crushing and rubbing to spine ends. Some mild marks and staining to surfaces. Gilt lettering to spine is dulled but remains brighter on front. Book has strong forward lean.

Slight ink stain to rear. All our books are vintage and second hand with the majority being 45+ years old. Because of this we take care in describing the condition of each book in great detail.
