2019 Maui and the Goddess of Fire - Maui raua ko Mahuika Silver Coin Set. These 0.999 silver proof coins come with an individually numbered certificate, housed in a high quality case. Mintage is limited to just 500 sets, worldwide. Each of these coins features one of the two key characters in the tale of Mui and the Goddess of Fire. One features Mui holding the goddesss fingernails of fire in the underworld.

The second shows the powerful Mahuika, holding forth her flaming fingernails. Both coins are embellished with unique koru designs, and Mahuikas skirt matches the pattern displayed on the hand-made triangular ttara box, evoking flickering flames. The fire in each illustration is highlighted with fine gold plating.
