Hi, I started collecting vinyl Lp's and 45's in 1971, I have 20,000 + which I have moved now 5 times. So it's time to let at least half go. Most are in at least Excellent condition. I can't listen to them all, so most will only have visual grading, any with a high start price, I will listen too, and play grade.
I TRY TO BE AS ACCURATE AS POSSIBLE IN MY DESCRIPTIONS, SO IF THERE IS A PROBLEM PLEASE CONTACT ME FIRST SO WE CAN SORT THE ISSUE OUT. 1977 1st UK Press "RARE RUSH VINYL" ALBUM. 1977 UK EMI LABEL, 1st UK Press. C OVER:- Near MINT, VINYL :- Near MINT. NEAR MINT+ :- I can only say these are in top condition, plays with no distortion, no jumps, few plays only.
NEAR MINT :- condition, UK 1st Press Rarely seen, have a look at the photo's it's non-laminated sleeve has no writing, near perfect sleeve , please look at the photo's. The spine is near perfect (see photo's). The Original die-cut Red Card Lyric inner with No splits! Being the very fragile these inner sleeves are a great indicator of the amount of usage the album has had, I would say the inner is the best you could find! And considering how fragile these are....Now nearly 43 years old, quite unbelievable intact condition. Clean, No Writing, no spindle marks. In order to assist everyone who buys and sells rare discs, Record Collector magazine has originated a set of standards for the condition of second-hand records, I have added a (+) or (-) to my gradings where applicable. MINT: The record itself is in brand new condition with no surface marks or deterioration in sound quality.
The cover and any extra items such as the lyric sheet, booklet or poster are in perfect condition. Records advertised as Sealed or Unplayed should be Mint. EXCELLENT: The record shows some signs of having been played, but there is very little lessening in sound quality. The cover and packaging might have slight wear and/or creasing. VERY GOOD : The record has obviously been played many times, but displays no major deterioration in sound quality, despite noticeable surface marks and the occasional light scratch. Normal wear and tear on the cover or extra items, without any major defects, is acceptable. GOOD: The record has been played so much that the sound quality has noticeably deteriorated, perhaps with some distortion and mild scratches. The cover and contents suffer from folding, scuffing of edges, spine splits, discoloration, etc. FAIR: The record is still just playable but has not been cared for properly and displays considerable surface noise; it may even jump. The cover and contents will be torn, stained and/or defaced.POOR: The record will not play properly due to scratches, bad surface noise, etc. The cover and contents will be badly damaged or partly missing. Items must be paid for within five days. However, if for any reason this should not be so, please contact me.
I use preformed and standard mailers with stiffeners. I always take the vinyl out in its inner sleeve and place on top of the cover. This is then placed into a soft protective sleeve and packaged with stiffeners for full protection. PLEASE NOTE I DO NOT SEND TO RUSSIA. I aim to provide an excellent service, so please get in touch if you have any questions.
