A large and complete by pagination volume of over 660 pages, profusely illustrated throughout, with particularly extensive coverage of the coronation of the emperor of Russia. Interesting former ownership having previously formed part of the private book collection of the Powell family, Nanteos Mansion, near Aberystwyth, Wales. A book plate with the family crest is pasted on the inside front board with a further note from W. Powell requesting that whoever borrows the book should return it to the owner as soon as finished.
