The Lost World of the Moa: Prehistoric Life in New Zealand (2002) by Trevor H. Published by University of Canterbury Press (New Zealand) and co-published by Indiana University Press in North America. This is a RARE book, out of print and with no e-book available. The work investigates one of the richest and most unusual faunas in the world, that of New Zealand, which thrived in isolation for some 80 million years. It was a fauna dominated by birds, most of which are now extinct. Among the lost animals were the giant birds known as moas, which included some of the largest birds that ever lived. The work is copiously illustrated with maps, line drawings and as well black and white photos. The copy is in'as new' condition.

It is effectively a new book. It is unmarked and shows no evidence of having been read.
